A Burnley marketing company is the talk of the town after hosting an event to mark their 5th birthday party.
+24 Marketing, based at Northbridge House, Burnley, welcomed around 80 guests to their offices to celebrate business in Burnley on Wednesday.
Visitors included businessmen and women from a wide range of sectors.
Dave Walker, owner of +24 marketing, said: “Seeing so many people in the room today shows how thriving business is in Burnley.
“Today is about +24 and our fifth birthday, but we also want to make Burnley the most successful town in the north.
“Burnley is already known as a world-class manufacturing area. I want to push the service and technology sectors.
“We are all great at what we do, but we don’t shout about it enough.”
The event saw a flurry of tweets ahead of the event using the #P24BDay hashtag.
As guests arrived they were invited to meet fellow visitors and network while enjoying champagne and canapes before taking their seats.
Dave Walker, Managing Director of +24 Marketing, gave an overview of the full digital creative marketing company before putting questions to the panel – which included David Brown, chairman of Pendleside Hospice, Neil Clough off The Apprentice, Pam Smith, chief executive of Burnley Council and Mark Crabtree, Managing Director of AMS Neve.
The panel answered questions from the audience such as the importance of networking, tips on sales, what makes a brand popular, what motivates them and how do you know when you’ve made it.
Dave said: “I am absolutely delighted with today’s event. From the feedback that everyone has given people took a huge amount away from it.
“The panellists were superb and their breadth and depth of knowledge came across clearly and concisely – and the banter added to the fun feeling of the day.
“You could feel the buzz in the room.”
