This week we welcomed Lisa Woodhouse to the expanding +24 Marketing team as Content Manager.
Lisa comes from a background in the local and regional press, working as a reporter, news editor, photographer and assistant picture editor.
She has a keen eye for identifying stories and their news value, and capturing the best angle for a photograph to illustrate an article.
Lisa has joined the social media team and is responsible for the content on our client’s social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Pinterest, as well as writing press releases and blogs, taking photographs to use on social media and to accompany articles, and videos for our clients.
Dave Walker, owner of +24 Marketing, said: “Bringing Lisa into the team adds even more depth to our social media and PR offering.
“Lisa will be driving content for clients which will enhance their social media presence, their web content and generate positive news stories for them.
“Our social media management is extremely popular and in one case has seen our clients have 1000% return on investment in one fantastic month.
“Lisa will add the ability to take live video, imagery and content in the moment, recognising the fact people want content immediately and they’re not willing to wait for it.”
Previously Lisa has worked as a reporter on a number of newspaper titles in the North West including the Lancashire Telegraph, Stockport Express, Rossendale Free Press, Accrington Observer and the Manchester Evening News Group.
The mum-of-one has also worked as a news editor on titles including the Accrington Observer and the Rossendale Free Press.
And more recently she has worked as a photographer and assistant picture editor on the Lancashire Telegraph, a daily regional paper.
