We had a great time at this year’s Lancashire Business View’s Sub36 Awards as the county’s most influential, innovative and inspiring young men and women in business were honoured.
Hosted at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool, winners across 11 categories were revealed on the night including the Creative Award, Entrepreneur of the Year and Young Lancastrian of the Year Award.
The Sub36 Awards provides the best possible platform to promote success with the aim of encouraging trade within the county. The awards celebrate the businesses that keep the county alive – the heroes of the Lancashire economy.
The big win of the night for us was our MD Dave Walker being named the Young Lancastrian of the Year. Dave has always been committed to making a difference in Lancashire, both in business and the community. Away from +24, Dave is a Trustee of Pendleside Hospice and played a key role in the development of The Landmark, Burnley’s new tech hub. He has also been the driving force behind Project Digital, our digital marketing apprenticeship scheme run in partnership with Themis.
Dave is leading change across Burnley and Lancashire. His passion and commitment to the county really shines through so we’re delighted for it to be recognised in this way.
Dave commented, “It’s a really proud moment to receive this award. I’m extremely lucky to work with an amazing team at +24 who make everything happen. We’re also very lucky to have some amazing clients who are incredibly supportive to us as a business and not just by paying the invoices!”
Congratulations to all of the finalists and winners, it’s fantastic to see so much talent developing in our fantastic county.
